Introduction
MyBB 2.0 will be the next major version of MyBB following the MyBB 1.8 series. It is currently in open development on GitHub and will be released to the community as soon as it’s ready for community contributions. There is no estimated release date for MyBB 2.0 at this time, although an Alpha/Beta is targeted before the end of 2016.

Core Changes
jQuery 2.x will be used as the main JavaScript library
Laravel 5.x will be the PHP framework used
PHP 7.0 will be the minimum version required
MyBB will adhere to PSR-2 coding standards and PSR-4 autoloading standards
Composer used as a dependency manager to split off core components into separate packages
The codebase will be fully testable (TDD) through unit tests
An API will be made available to provide better integration with third-party systems
New Features/Changes
Threads are now Topics; PMs are now Conversations.
Improved SEO-friendly URLs (in the form of /topic/topic-name-here.1 where 1 is the topic ID)
Threaded mode will be removed
Conversation-style (threaded) PMs
Mobile functionality (responsive design)
User Interface
Brand new default theme
HTML5 semantic element use, rather than table-based layouts of the old days
SVG buttons from Font-Awesome
Improved User Control Panel, with a single page to edit one’s profile
Modal dialog boxes
New profile layout
WYSIWYG editor
Markdown as an alternative to MyCode
Quote selection of a post
Content Liking (with reputation from current posts converted to the new Likes format)

Development Process Changes
The codebase will be fully testable
Automated testing is performed on the code and and pull requests automatically with Travis-CI and PHPUnit
Use of gulp.js, Sass, and Bower in the local development environment
Public Requests for Comments (RFCs) are planned to allow community members to have more of a say in the direction of MyBB

MyBB 2.0 resmi olarak çıkmadı.Geliştiriciler için beta aşamasındaki kurulum dosyaları paylaşıldı.Yani tam sağlam değil.Ve kullanılabilirliği 10tr.net'i desteklemiyor ftp gerekli çünkü düzenlemlerin çoğu ftp ile yapılmakta.

Sen çok akıllısın ya. Yayınlanan dosyaların normal yoldan direk FTP'ye atıp installdan kurulduğunu mu sanıyorsun? Yayınlanan dosyalar beta bile değil. Sana biraz bilgi vereyim de böyle konuşma her yerde. FTP File transfer protocol demek. Yani http gibi bir iletişim biçimi. FTP ile düzenleme diyorsun şimdi cümlenin her yerinde hata var ne diyeyim sana. Hani Türklerin arasında ad aktarması şeklinde kullanılıyor ona bir şey demiyorum da ftp ile niye düzenliyor ki. Ve öyle demişsin ki sanki hazır bir iki düzenlenecek şey var.
2.0'a geçişin kolay olacağını sanmayın köklü değişiklikler var.
